Solves a problem that prevented saving the preferences after duplicating a Display Set. Should consistently display '480p' and '576p' resolutions like the System. I also tried to make a custom display config file with HiDPI enabled manually, but something went wrong and it didn't work. Is now able to save and restore windows positions & space number, in every application, even if the window title changes. The image is now going to my monitor at 2560x1440 with the HUD scale of 1920x1080. 1920 x 1080 HiDPi becomes available in Current Resolutions of SwitchResX. SwitchResX is supposed to do the same trick, but I had no success with it. Create a custom 4k resolution (3840 x 2160) in SwitchResX using the Scaled resolution option. I don't need it anyway, cause I'm quite happy with 2048x1152 (enough space for my needs, and text is not too small). But I didn't find a way to have HiDPI enabled for the native 2560x1440. I have a DELL 1440p monitor and I enabled 2048x1152, 1600x900, etc, resolutions. I don't remember if the trial version has "Edit the system configuration for this display" option.) This will request SR to be setup for 15KHz monitors/TVs output. I had other kinds of issues with dummies as well. Step 2: Quit SwitchResX 4.6.6 if it is running, and then launch Osx Uninstaller. This option is where you will turn on SwitchRes and choose your main output hardware. I prefer to arrange my apps on different desktops, and BetterDisplay has issues with that: after sleep all the apps can go to desktop #0.
